I opened to the back of this historical novel I’m reading for my Japanese history course to see how many pages it was and whoever owned the book before me wrote what happened to the main characters on the last page so the whole book was just ruined for me.

Some days I play guitar and think that I’m getting somewhat decent and get all pumped about learning new stuff or buying new gear but other days I’m just downright fucking awful. Screwing up the easiest chords, can’t even play my regular songs, the tone sounds disgusting, or I forget everything and get so pissed off and frustrated.

I lowered the pickups on my shitty tele today and wow what a difference. The World is a Beautiful Place & I am no Longer Afraid to Die were supposed to come to some coffee shop in Davenport on Thursday which I just found out, but they apparently cancelled.
Sucks, we don’t get much music out here in the QCA. I might have actually left my room for once.
I think I posted the wrong Malcolm Middleton song earlier. Given the current hour “Up Late at Night Again” would have been more appropriate.
Then again, the song is more of a love declaration and not the somber-reflective up late at night attitude.
