Proposed Triangle Building @ Wrigley Field.

My dad actually passed this on to me about a week ago: a proposed idea for the triangle lot adjacent to Wrigley Field along the 3rd base grandstand - a thesis project developed with the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture. Really dig the ideas, renderings, floor plans, and elevations for this Triangle Building to enhance the Wrigley Field experience. Being so connected as a Cubs fan and vendor there for 5 years (knowing Wrigley in and out), I am really intrigued to see what future developments will be implemented to the landmark. Read about this proposal here and check out all the detailed visuals here.

This really needs to happen. The organization can’t keep renovating Wrigley every 5 years while still being in denial about quality of the facilities and the room available.

one of the favorite stupid questions i get is, “but how do architecture and baseball go together?” -_-

This feels a lot like the way Boston shuts down Yawkey Way during the game and makes it part of the Fenway. Very cool.

Wow. I really love this. Much more than the official-ish drawings that have been floating around the past few years.
